Kayla Reid reveals Ryan Lochte’s

Kayla Reid, a former Playboy playmate turned influencer, is laying it all out in court.

She’s asking for both child support and alimony to help care for their three young children—Caiden, Liv, and Georgia.

As part of her filings, she revealed that Ryan earned $350,437 in 2024, while she made about $196,000 before taxes last year through real estate and brand work.

But after taxes, Kayla is left with just under $12,000 a month, which falls short of her $17,000 in monthly expenses.

She told the court there’s no guarantee she’ll continue earning that much this year and that her extra $1,500 monthly gig managing social media was cut in 2025.

She’s also carrying over $5,000 in credit card debt, including charges on a Discover card, American Airlines, and even T.J. Maxx.

The Couple’s Shared Debt Adds Fuel to the Fire

It’s not just about individual income either—together, Ryan and Kayla reportedly owe almost $270,000 in debts, which complicates the divorce even more.

The financial pressures are clearly mounting on both sides as they try to navigate this split.

Kayla Speaks Out with Emotional Posts

While she’s remained relatively quiet in public interviews, Kayla has been dropping emotional breadcrumbs on social media.

In recent posts, she’s alluded to betrayal and resilience, hinting that she didn’t see the divorce coming.

“Sometimes God allows the betrayal… because it leads to the breakthrough,” one quote read.

Another powerful post stated: “Divorce isn’t the end of my story. It’s the beginning of my rebirth.”

She described this phase as “the best chapter” of her life—even though she admits healing still has to happen.

A Custody Battle Brewing

Beyond money, the biggest issue might be the custody of their kids.

Kayla is asking for sole parenting responsibility, or at the very least, final say in major decisions and majority time with the children.

She says shared custody would be “detrimental” to their wellbeing.

Ryan, on the other hand, wants joint custody.

But his legal filing didn’t help his case—he incorrectly listed all three of his children’s birthdates and even got their birthplaces wrong.

Kayla quickly corrected the errors in a follow-up filing.

A Look Back at Their Relationship

The couple went public in 2016 and married in 2018 in a romantic ceremony in Palm Springs, California.

At the time, it looked like a dream pairing: Olympic glory and Hollywood glamour.

But seven years later, things have clearly unraveled behind the scenes.

Earlier this month, Kayla confirmed she filed for divorce back in March, describing the process as “painful” and full of challenges they “didn’t choose.”

Ryan’s statement, meanwhile, reflected a softer tone, saying he was “grateful” for the life they had built together.

Where Things Stand Now

The court has yet to finalize any decisions on custody or financial support.

Both parties seem emotionally and financially invested in fighting for what they believe is best—not just for themselves, but for their three children.

It’s a reminder that even high-profile couples with glamorous lives deal with raw, real struggles when it comes to love, money, and family.
