Katsina Students Abduction: Governor Masari Says Kidnappers Have Contacted The Government

Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, says the Kidnappers who abducted hundreds of students from Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, have contacted the government and discussion are on going about the return of the boys safely to their parents.

The Governor said this in his briefing of president Bihari in Daura on Monday 14th of December, 2020.

The president’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu says the president received more briefing from the governor on the issue of the kidnapped students, which include assurance that the state government will do everything possible to rescue and return the children safely.

The governor and his deputy said they have started discussion with the Kidnappers to figure out how to return the children. He said the military have located where the children are.

The Kidnappers broke into Government Science Secondary School on Friday 11th of December, 2020 in Katsina State and abducted hundreds of students. More than 330 students of the about 800 student population of the school are currently missing.
