Kate Moss Takes on New Role Exploring David Bowie
Beyond the fashion spotlight, Kate Moss is embarking on an exciting new project.
She will host an eight-part BBC Radio 6 podcast series titled David Bowie: Changeling, exploring the legendary musician’s artistic evolution between 1970-1975.
The series will feature rare archive interviews and new insights from friends and collaborators, including Boy George, Chrissie Hynde, Elton John, Robbie Williams, Twiggy, and more.
Kate described her enthusiasm for the project: “David Bowie was a very special person.
Someone who was much more than a friend—he was an enigma.
Diving into this extraordinary five-year chapter of his life for 6 Music and BBC Sounds, hearing from those who joined him on his creative journey and those he continues to inspire, I was excited to help share the story of such an incredible transformation.
This podcast is a real celebration of my friend, a true British icon.”
A Look Back at Bowie’s Legacy
The podcast will also explore Bowie’s early performances with The Hype, his fascination with Andy Warhol, and the creation of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars.
Archive conversations from Lady Gaga, Sinéad O’Connor, Lou Reed, and Tracey Emin will give listeners an intimate glimpse into the artist’s life.
Kate, who was close friends with Bowie for around a decade, previously shared anecdotes of their friendship, including the musician teasing her over his famously slim-fitting outfits.
The podcast promises to be a heartfelt tribute to the iconic Ziggy Stardust era and Bowie’s lasting influence on music and culture.
