Kanye West surprises fans with a bizarre Super Bowl ad filmed at a dentist’s office after spending his budget on new teeth

Kanye West is no stranger to controversy, but his latest stunt left fans scratching their heads.

During the Super Bowl, he aired a bizarre ad promoting his fashion brand, Yeezy, that looked more like a casual iPhone clip than a high-budget commercial.

The short video appeared to have been filmed at a dentist’s office, and Kanye himself admitted that he blew his entire ad budget on his “new teeth.”

“I spent all the money for the commercial on these new teeth,” the 47-year-old rapper said in the video, grinning while wearing sunglasses.

“So, once again, I had to shoot it on the iPhone.”

With an awkward pause and a few hesitant “Um. Umm. Umm,” Kanye eventually wrapped up the ad by directing viewers to his website. “Go to Yeezy.com,” he said flatly.

Social Media Reacts to Kanye’s Unconventional Ad

Fans wasted no time taking to social media to share their thoughts.

The reactions ranged from confused to outright embarrassed.

One user on X (formerly Twitter) called it a “cringe-worthy spectacle,” while another pointed out that Kanye had once again spent “all the money” on an ad that looked like an afterthought.

“Kanye West’s Super Bowl commercial was as awkward as his recent X posts.

Filmed on his iPhone while getting new teeth, it was a cringe-worthy spectacle,” one user wrote.

Another shared the clip with a caption reading, “New Kanye West Super Bowl ad… so strange.”

However, not everyone was laughing. Some were outraged that Kanye even had airtime during the Super Bowl, especially given his recent history of anti-Semitic remarks.

“Unbelievable that Kanye West gets a Super Bowl commercial after he says he loves Hitler. Absolutely unacceptable,” one critic wrote.

Others questioned how he even secured the ad spot. “How was Kanye West even chosen to do a Super Bowl commercial in the first place? Kanye West is old news.

Can our country not do better with anything? America is at her lowest.”

Kanye’s Controversial Comments and Social Media Backlash

Kanye didn’t stop at the Super Bowl ad—he also took to X on Sunday to fire off more controversial posts.

He made a direct jab at Taylor Swift, referencing her dancing to Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us” at the Grammys.

“IF ITS ABOUT THE CULTURE … WHY ARE WE LETTING TAYLOR SWIFT BE SEEN ON TV SINGING A SONG ABOUT TAKING A BLACK MAN DOWN AND ACCUSING HIM OF THINGS THAT CAN TAKE A BLACK MAN DOWN FOR LIFE,” he posted.

Kendrick Lamar didn’t escape Kanye’s criticism either. “KENDRICK IS BEING USED BY THESE WHITE PEOPLE AND JEWS AND SO AM I,” he wrote.

With these posts and many others targeting various celebrities, races, and religions, X added a warning label to his account: “Caution: This profile may include potentially sensitive content.”

Unfazed by the label, Kanye called out X owner Elon Musk, saying, “AS I TWEET IN CODE WORDS AND KISS ELON’S A** AND BEG HIM TO NOT CANCEL MY ACCOUNT.”

Kanye Speaks Out in a Late-Night Video

Following the backlash, Kanye posted a video addressing the situation.

He appeared calm but groggy, acknowledging the concerns about his mental state.

“I know you’re all thinking I’m going through something right now, and I’ve got bags under my eyes and s***,” he said.

He dismissed the idea that he needed an intervention, saying, “I wouldn’t want nobody to, like, do an intervention on me—that’s why I wanted to put this video up, ‘cause you’re all thinking, ‘Ye really going through something right now.

Somebody need to go get him or take his Twitter and stuff like that.'”

Kanye insisted he was in a “good space” and found the experience “cathartic.”

He also made it clear that he had no regrets about his recent social media activity.

“I got my ideas out—that’s all that happened, and that was very freeing for me,” he said.

And it was worth everything—it was worth everything to do that.”

What’s Next for Kanye?

After yet another week filled with controversy, it’s unclear what Kanye’s next move will be.

His latest Yeezy drop, which includes a T-shirt collaboration with Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Sean John brand, has already been overshadowed by his recent remarks.

He previously revealed he planned to split the profits “50/50” with Diddy, whom he discussed it with before Combs’ arrest last year on serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering.

While Kanye continues to make headlines, his behavior is pushing more people away.

Whether his latest Super Bowl ad was a stroke of marketing genius or just another bizarre misstep remains up for debate.
