KALONZO MUSYOKA’s man says 99 percent of Mt Kenya is behind DP RUTO

Thursday, February 3, 2022 – An ally of former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has said Deputy President William Ruto is the Mt Kenya kingpin despite the media portraying that the region is divided between the second in command and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
In an interview with K24 TV on Thursday, Mwingi West Member of Parliament, Charles Nguna, said DP Ruto is in firm control of the Mt Kenya region and the majority of the electorate are behind United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
Nguna further said Mt Kenya is a UDA stronghold and any presidential hopeful thinking he will get votes from the mountain by picking a running mate from the region is lying to himself.
“The reality on the ground is that Mount Kenya is in UDA, we cannot dispute that.
“Whoever is lying that he will get votes in Mount Kenya by primarily choosing a running mate from the region is lying to himself,” Nguna said.
