Kaleb Cooper confirms he was not replaced as Harriet Cowan fills in brilliantly at Diddly Squat Farm during Clarkson’s Farm filming in season four

You know how sometimes you just need to hit pause and do something different for a bit?

That’s exactly what Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper did—and fans had a lot of questions when he suddenly went missing midway through the upcoming season. But don’t worry, he’s not going anywhere.

Kaleb recently joined This Morning via video chat to set the record straight and introduce the hero who stepped in while he was away.

Meet Harriet: The Stand-In Who Totally Nailed It

While Kaleb hit the road for a national speaking tour, a new face showed up on Diddly Squat Farm—Harriet Cowan.

And according to Kaleb, she didn’t just fill in—she crushed it. He called her “brilliant” and praised her for “saving the day” while he was away.

Jeremy Clarkson even got a bit of unexpected grooming help: “She helped him trim his eyebrows,” Kaleb joked.

Harriet isn’t your average farmhand. She’s a full-time nurse and a farmer, which pretty much makes her a superhero in boots.

And even though she hadn’t seen a single episode of Clarkson’s Farm before joining the crew, she jumped in with both feet—welding, fencing, loading animal feed—you name it.

Kaleb Says: I’m Still Part of the Farm Family

Fans have been speculating about Kaleb’s role in the show, especially after Harriet popped up in the season four trailer.

But Kaleb was quick to put those rumors to bed.

“I’m still involved,” he told hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

“There’s been a lot of talk that I’ve been replaced, but that’s not true at all. I just stepped away for a bit, and Harriet helped hold things together.”

Jeremy, in true Jeremy fashion, admitted in a separate Instagram video that he thought he could handle things on his own—but quickly realized he couldn’t.

“I made a complete mess of everything,” he confessed, before thanking Harriet for stepping up.

Farming Isn’t All Sunshine and Tractors

Kaleb didn’t hold back when describing the tough conditions they faced last year on the farm.

“Loading pigs was a nightmare. The weather was awful, and the mud was just insane,” he said.

“The pigs were even biting my wellies!”

And while Jeremy may have thought he was done for the day, Kaleb laughed, “He completely forgot about me.”

Even though Jeremy is slowly learning the ropes, Kaleb joked that his boss still shouldn’t be left alone on the farm.

“He’s getting better, but there’s still a lot he can’t do,” Kaleb said with a smile.

Harriet’s Farm Life Runs Deep

Turns out, Harriet’s natural talent on the farm isn’t a coincidence.

She grew up helping her dad, Eddy, on the land.

While her mum hoped she’d become a nurse, her dad nudged her toward farming—so she did both.

Now she juggles life as a nurse and a farmer, and somehow finds time to entertain her 35,000 TikTok followers too.

Her Instagram bio says it all: “Come and watch the craziness.”

And based on what we’ve seen so far, we definitely will.

A Fun New Chapter for Clarkson’s Farm

Season four of Clarkson’s Farm premieres May 23 on Amazon Prime, and fans can expect a mix of chaos, comedy, and a whole lot of heart.

Kaleb’s back, Harriet’s made her mark, and Jeremy is… well, still being Jeremy.
