Fact Checked by TDPel News Desk

Kaizer Chiefs are set for a huge revamp under in coming months with several stars leaving Naturena and only these SEVEN players assured of spots next season.

Very few things are certain in football – especially at Chiefs.

Their form is as inconsistent as their activity in the transfer window and the drama never stops at Amakhosi. A total of 12 players could leave Naturena come the end of June, according to KickOff. This includes two Amakhosi legends!

Not even Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard are safe, since they have been hired by Kaizer Motaung on an interim basis.

Only these SEVEN players are assured of spots in the squad next season…

THE ONLY SEVEN KAIZER CHIEFS PLAYERS THAT ARE SAFE

Keegan Dolly and Khama Billiat have established themselves as key players in this squad. Zwane, Sheppard and any future coach will agree.

Njabulo Blom is perhaps the most consistent player in this side and Amakhosi will want to nurture his talent. At just 22 years old, Blom will only get better and he is hands down one of the best players in this side.

Njabulo Ngcobo, Kgaogelo Sekgota and Sibusiso Mabiliso were only recently signed so they will be safe for next season. They have shown plenty of potential, now they just need regular game time. Nkosingiphile Ngcobo is not going anywhere anytime soon – especially with Zwane in charge!

The club should look to build their future around players like these.

In goal, Brandon Peterson has established himself as the first choice. In the process, he has secured his spot in the side next season.

Bruce Bvuma is struggling for playing time despite being the back-up to Bafana Bafana captain, Ronwen Williams. Even he may venture elsewhere in search of gametime, as he needs this to maintain form and momentum to be in the national side.

Not even Itumeleng Khune is safe! He may be an Amakhosi legend but he is struggling to find some much-needed game time. Hopefully, this happens soon. The younger players need his leadership and guidance.

Who would you like to see join this core group as part of the next generation of Chiefs players?
