Kaizer Chiefs set to sign 19-year-old left-back Omega Mdaka on a three-year deal
South African football club, Kaizer Chiefs, are in the process of securing the services of Omega Mdaka, a promising 19-year-old left-back.
According to SoccerLaduma, the club has offered Mdaka a three-year deal, which he is expected to sign soon.
Once he signs the contract, he will become the latest addition to Arthur Zwane’s young squad at Naturena.
Mdaka impressed Amakhosi management during training
During his training sessions with the senior side, Mdaka reportedly impressed both Amakhosi management and Arthur Zwane.
As a result, the club decided to prepare an offer for his services.
In addition, the left-back is currently leading the team in the DDC league, which is set to end soon.
However, he will join the first team next season.

Donay Jansen to join Mdaka
Kaizer Chiefs will also add Donay Jansen, a 20-year-old winger, to their squad.
The two young players will join a group of talented starlets that Zwane has already promoted to the senior side.
These include Wandile Duba, Mduduzi Tshabalala, Aden McCarthy, and Samkelo Zwane.
Commentary
Kaizer Chiefs, one of the biggest football clubs in South Africa, has been undergoing a transition period lately.
In the past few years, the club has struggled to achieve the level of success they were known for in the past.
However, the appointment of Arthur Zwane as head coach and a focus on promoting young talent from the club’s academy seems to be paying off.
Omega Mdaka is the latest in a series of young players who have been given a chance to shine at the senior level.
By signing a three-year deal with the club, he will have the opportunity to develop his talent and potentially become a key player for the club in the future.
