Kaizer Chiefs Set to Bid Farewell to Christian Saile as Chippa United Nears Loan Deal in South Africa

Kaizer Chiefs Set to Bid Farewell to Christian Saile as Chippa United Nears Loan Deal in South Africa

As the January transfer window opens, Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly gearing up to part ways with a few players to make room for new signings.

Among the first expected to leave is Congolese forward Christian Saile.

Christian Saile Set for Loan Move to Chippa United

Saile, who has had limited game time this season, is likely to make the move to Chippa United on loan.

After only one start in the Betway Premiership this season, Saile’s future at Amakhosi seems uncertain.

According to SABC Sport, negotiations are progressing between Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United for the loan deal.

The Glamour Boys are reportedly keen on freeing up a foreign player spot to sign an international forward.

A loan move for Saile would allow Chiefs to bring in a replacement swiftly.

Saile joined Kaizer Chiefs two years ago from Zambian club Nchana Rangers with high hopes, but after 49 appearances across all competitions, he has only managed to score six goals.

His role has been more on the wing than as a central striker, which could have impacted his performance.

Fiacre Ntwari Faces Potential Loan Move

Another player whose future is in question is Burundian goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari.

After joining Kaizer Chiefs in August 2024 from TS Galaxy, Ntwari started as the club’s number-one goalkeeper.

However, a few mistakes, along with an injury during international duty, led to him losing his starting spot by November 2024.

Reports suggest that Kaizer Chiefs are now considering loaning Ntwari out to make room for Zambia’s Toaster Nsabata, who has been identified as a potential signing.

The club is reportedly looking to strengthen their goalkeeper department, and Nsabata’s experience with the Zambia national team makes him a desirable option.

However, Chiefs would need to make room for him, and it seems Ntwari could be the one to be loaned out, with the decision still up in the air.
