Kaizer Chiefs Confirm Next Signings: Donay Jansen and Omega Mdaka
In a recent announcement, Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signings of Given Msimango and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe.
And now, the team is preparing to welcome their next two signings – Donay Jansen and Omega Mdaka.
Possible Njabulo Blom Replacement?
According to The South African, both Jansen and Mdaka are set to be signed and promoted to the first team.
Management has confirmed this, and both players have been spotted at training in Naturena recently.
20-year-old winger, Donay Jansen, is set to be offered a three or four-year deal by Amakhosi management.
An insider has confirmed that “Coach Arthur (Zwane) and coach Vela (Khumalo) work hand in hand to look at the players who can be promoted from the DStv Diski Challenge team to the senior team.
Now they have agreed that Donay Jansen can join the senior team.”
Exciting Prospects for Kaizer Chiefs
Mdaka, Jansen’s teammate, is also expected to receive a similar offer.
“He has been offered a three-year contract for now though it’s not yet finalized but it is as good as done.
He is still leading the team in the DDC league at the moment, but it’s just to finish the season, but next season he will be with the first team,” the insider added.
Jansen is known for his speed, skill, and exciting potential.
And with the length of his offer, it’s clear that Amakhosi management sees a bright future for the young winger.
The same can be said for his teammate Mdaka, who has even been tipped to take over from PSL veteran S’fiso Hlanti in the future.
The Future of Amakhosi and Zwane
Jansen and Mdaka are set to become Amakhosi’s fifth and sixth youth products to earn promotion under Coach Arthur Zwane.
And with the likes of Mduduzi Shabalala, Samkelo Zwane, Wandile Duba, Aden McCarthy, and Bontle Molefe also being promoted this season, the future is looking bright for the team.
Shabalala and Zwane have already started to make a name for themselves, and Jansen and Mdaka could very well follow in their footsteps.
It’s clear that Amakhosi is focused on building a strong team for the future, with young, talented players at the heart of it all.
Overall, this is exciting news for Kaizer Chiefs fans who are eager to see what these young talents can bring to the team.
