The 2022/23 season has been another disappointing one for Kaizer Chiefs, as the team has failed to win any silverware.
With just two games remaining in the DSTV Premiership, there is a slim chance of finishing second and securing a spot in the CAF Champions League.
The team’s final fixtures are against SuperSport United (away) on May 13 and Cape Town City (home) on May 20.
Meanwhile, Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane believes that bitter Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates have an advantage over Amakhosi, as they have already established a core while his team is still working to form connections.
Chiefs started the season with seven new players, compared to Pirates’ six.
Zwane explained that the team was working on chemistry and understanding, and that many key players were out injured, which contributed to the team’s losses.
