Kaizer Chiefs have been on the receiving end of some emphatic blows in the public during recent weeks.
If it’s not a club chairman referring to their players as ‘rejects’, it’s club’s social media administrators tackling the ‘mighty’ Amakhosi head on.
Here we take a look at some of the killer blows Kaizer Chiefs have been taking in the soccer fraternity during recent weeks from some of their DStv Premiership competitors.

AmaZulu boss refers to Kaizer Chiefs players as ‘rejects’!

AmaZulu boss Sandile Zungu shockingly hit-out at Kaizer Chiefs over the way the club went about their pursuit of Usuthu midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe.
Subsequently, the AmaZulu chairman shockingly referred to the players Chiefs offered in a swap deal for Sithebe as ‘rejects’ while emphatically shrugging off any potential swap deal involving the two clubs.

“We were offered two players by Kaizer Chiefs. And we made it very clear that look, we not a dumping ground for rejects. Ja we were offered but we looked at the players that they were offering and we said no.” Zungu told Kick-off.

Royal AM official hits out at STINGY Amakhosi

Royal AM Chief Executive Officer Sinky Mnisi was left highly unimpressed by Kaizer Chiefs’ offer for star striker Victor Letsoalo.

“People should not listen to what other people are saying, Victor Letsoalo is our player,” Mnisi said on Munghana Lonene FM regarding the potential transfer of the Bafana Bafana striker.
“We have never been approached, it was only this week, where the agent said Kaizer Chiefs were interested, that was it. And we are not going to budge, if they want Letsoalo, they must bring the money that we want. No money, no deal, that’s all.
“We are not going to budge on that, Victor is a Rolls-Royce, if you want a Rolls-Royce you must pay the money the Rolls-Royce is worth, full stop. We want our money and that’s all.
“Don’t come and say you want a Rolls-Royce, but you (Kaizer Chiefs) want to pay money a Mazda 323 is worth, it doesn’t work like that. If you feel that boy is a Rolls-Royce, pay the money and take the player, that’s all.”

Stellenbosch the latest to take a sly dig at Kaizer Chiefs

The Glamour Boys were strongly linked with Stellenbosch FC star Ashley Du Preez and the club wasted little time to take a sly dig at the Glamour Boys on social media.
