Kaizer Chiefs have issued a request to their fans, urging them to support the team and avoid participating in the unpleasant incidents that resulted in Arthur Zwane, the coach, requiring medical attention.
Zwane was struck by a bottle thrown by some fans, and the assistant coach, Dillon Sheppard, confirmed that Zwane was in a traumatized state after the attack.
In response, Kaizer Chiefs released a statement reassuring everyone that Zwane is fine and detailing the incident.
They emphasized that the actions of the angry supporters were unacceptable and intolerable, urging all fans to refrain from violence.
Instead, they called upon the Amakhosi Faithful to rally behind the team and the coach, providing inspiration for the remaining games of the season.
Despite their defeat against SuperSport United, Kaizer Chiefs fell just short of their goal to secure a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup, with the team currently in fourth place.
