Justin Bieber is keeping the momentum going.
Less than two months after dropping his seventh studio album, Swag, the 31-year-old pop superstar is back with a follow-up.
Swag II is set to release tonight at midnight, just eight weeks after the original album debuted on July 11.
Global Hype and Instagram Announcement
Justin broke the news on Instagram, flooding his account with posts promoting the album around the world.
Fans had already spotted a Swag II billboard in London, but this marked the first time the release date was officially shared.
In his post, Justin simply wrote, “swag II TONIGHT MIDNIGHT,” alongside what appears to be the album artwork.
The cover, done entirely in pink, boldly displays SWAG II in the same font as the first album and carries a parental advisory for explicit content.
It also seems to include a family photo, featuring Justin with his wife Hailey Bieber, 28, and their son Jack Blues.
His Instagram posts also highlighted the album being advertised on buildings and landmarks across major cities, from Shanghai and Seoul to New York.
Revisiting the First Album Swag
Justin’s surprise album, Swag, received praise from critics when it launched in July.
The tracks explore his public image, personal struggles, and his devotion to Hailey and their son Jack Blues.
The album also includes playful interludes with comedian Druski, who joins Justin in candid “therapy sessions” that give listeners an intimate look at his life.
Many songs alluded to challenging moments in Justin and Hailey’s marriage, which has faced scrutiny since they tied the knot in 2018.
After months of speculation about their relationship and Justin’s well-being, the singer vowed to “change” for his wife during a rocky period.
Songs Reflect Personal Struggles and Love
In Daisies, the second track of Swag, Justin explores moments of miscommunication with Hailey:
“Throwin’ petals like, ‘Do you love me or not?’ / Head is spinnin’, and it don’t know when to stop / You said ‘Forever,’ babe, did you mean it or not?”
Track 10, Walking Away, describes the couple “taking a break” and testing their patience:
“Days go by so fast, don’t wanna spend them with you / So tell me why you’re throwing stones at my back / You know I’m defenseless.”
Yet the chorus reassures fans of their enduring love:
“Baby, I ain’t walking away / You were my diamond / Gave you a ring / I made you a promise / I told you, I’d change / It’s just human nature / These growing pains / And baby, I ain’t walking away.”
Hailey Bieber Claps Back at Speculation
Ahead of the release, Hailey made her voice heard, addressing critics who’ve questioned their relationship.
Reposting a photo of Justin’s massive Swag billboard in Times Square, she captioned it, “Is it finally clocking to you f**ing losers?”*
Her message suggested that Justin’s unusual behavior wasn’t due to marital troubles, but rather his intense focus on music.
The couple even recorded part of Swag in Iceland earlier this year.
Celebrating Family Moments Amid Fame
Amid the music frenzy, the couple recently celebrated their son Jack’s first birthday on August 22.
They’ve been careful to maintain his privacy, sharing only small glimpses of him.
Jack made his music video debut recently, appearing in the visualizer for Justin’s hit Yukon, delighting fans without fully revealing his face.
Justin Bieber may have just dropped Swag II, but between family life and global music releases, he’s proving he’s juggling both fame and fatherhood with style.
