Justin Bieber Cuts Down His Entourage and Responds to Claims About His Former Personal Assistant Mateo Caldas in Los Angeles

In a recent move, Justin Bieber has been trimming down his circle of close associates, opting for a more streamlined group of trusted individuals.

This shift includes setting the record straight about a past situation involving his former personal assistant, Mateo Caldas, who was reported to have “quit” after joining Bieber’s team in 2018.

Mateo Caldas Moves On from Bieber’s Team

A recent report from The US Sun suggested that Mateo Caldas, Bieber’s estate manager, has now “moved on” and is shifting focus toward his acting career.

However, a source clarified to TMZ that Bieber had actually parted ways with Mateo five years ago.

Despite this, Mateo continues to list himself as an active employee on his LinkedIn and Instagram profiles, where he still refers to his role as Justin’s personal assistant and estate manager.

Bieber’s Changing Circle of Close Associates

Justin’s decision to downsize isn’t limited to just one individual.

Over the years, he has reportedly parted ways with several people, including his longtime manager, Scooter Braun, business manager Lou Taylor, Drew House co-founder and ‘swagger coach’ Ryan Good, bodyguards Keith Gibbs and Eric Johnson, as well as security guard Kenny Hamilton.

The decision to shift his team seems to reflect a broader personal change in Justin’s life.

Focus on Family and Music Amidst Personal Growth

In a year filled with personal transformations, Justin has been focusing on what truly matters to him: his family and his music.

After a viral video of him interacting with a fan in February, there were rumors about his possible drug use.

However, his representative quickly cleared up any confusion, reassuring fans that he is not using hard drugs and is actually “in one of the best places in his life.”

Bieber’s rep explained that Justin spent the past year ending several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.

His focus now lies in being an active parent to his newborn son, Jack Blues Bieber, and continuing his musical journey.

Celebrating Milestones with Hailey and Their Growing Family

This past Saturday, Justin celebrated his 31st birthday with a getaway to Gozzer Ranch in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, alongside his wife, Hailey Baldwin Bieber, and their loved ones.

The couple, who has been married for six years, welcomed their first child, Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024, shortly after renewing their wedding vows in Hawaii earlier that year.

Health Challenges and Future Plans

Bieber has faced significant challenges in recent years, including his battle with depression and a diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome in 2022.

This condition, which impacted his facial nerves, led him to focus more on his health than his career.

Nonetheless, he’s been reemerging on the scene, making surprise appearances at Coachella and the NHL All-Star Weekend.

His most recent single, Moments, was featured on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ album The Love Album: Off the Grid in 2023.

However, Diddy, who once mentored Justin, is currently facing legal issues and is incarcerated until his federal trial in May.

Despite the ups and downs, Justin Bieber remains committed to his health, family, and music as he continues to evolve both personally and professionally.
