Former Kaizer Chiefs player Junior Khanye is concerned that defender Miguel Inacio could be a liability for his team in Saturday’s highly anticipated Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates.

“The thing about Pirates is they’re very strong going forward, and I don’t think Chiefs have what it takes to handle their attack,” Khanye explained.

He also expressed concerns about individual performances, particularly from Bradley Cross, who he believes hasn’t been solid on the left side of defense.

Khanye Expects Mistakes From Inacio

Khanye’s main concern, however, is Inacio’s tendency to make critical errors.

He warned that the defender’s emotional style of play might lead to costly mistakes, including a potential red card in the derby.

“I’ve got nothing against him, but he tends to get too emotional,” Khanye said.

“This will be his first Soweto Derby, and Pirates are going to put a lot of pressure on him.

If he doesn’t keep his cool, he could very well end up getting sent off.”

As the two teams prepare to face off, Kaizer Chiefs will be looking for revenge after a 3-2 loss to Pirates in the last derby.
