Change is in the air at MetLife Stadium.
John Harbaugh, fresh off his tenure with the Baltimore Ravens, has stepped in as the new head coach of the New York Giants, and he’s wasting no time shaking things up.
Early reports suggest that Harbaugh has already begun making significant personnel changes, sending shockwaves through both the coaching staff and front office.
Early Casualties of the Harbaugh Regime
Longtime Giants executive Kevin Abrams is reportedly one of the first major departures under Harbaugh’s leadership.
Abrams, who joined the organization in 1999 and played a key role in the team’s two Super Bowl victories, had served as assistant general manager for more than two decades and most recently held the role of senior vice president of football operations and strategy.

As things stand, Harbaugh appears to be the only coach officially listed on the Giants website.
Reports suggest that outside linebackers coach–turned interim defensive coordinator Charlie Bullen may be the only defensive assistant from last season to retain a spot on the team.
Looking to the Future
Harbaugh is determined to reshape the Giants around a core of promising young talent.
Quarterback Jaxon Dart, running back Cam Skattebo, wide receiver Malik Nabers, and linebacker Abdul Carter are expected to play key roles in the team’s revival.
During his introductory press conference, Harbaugh spoke positively about the staff he’s inherited, noting, “We have great coaches on this staff that we’re looking forward to talking to.”
Still, it’s clear that significant changes are underway as the Giants enter this new chapter.
