Jenny Morrison’s extraordinary generosity has again been revealed as it emerged she let a family made homeless by flooding stay in her house until the end of the election campaign.
Nikki Durant and her two adult sons moved into former Prime Minister Scott Morrison and his wife Jenny’s home when her house in the Northern Rivers town of Woodburn flooded earlier this year.
The Morrisons did not need their home in Sydney‘s Sutherland Shire at the time as they were living between the Prime Minister’s official houses in Canberra and on the shore of Sydney harbour.
Ms Durant – who Mrs Morrison hardly knew – had just moved to Woodburn four days before the town and her new home were engulfed by an unprecedented flood.
