What looked like a picture-perfect life for TV lawyer Jennifer Lancaster has now been exposed as a stormy and dangerous marriage.
Jennifer, 41, is speaking out in a new lawsuit against her high-profile attorney husband, Clint Lancaster, 45, claiming years of substance abuse, threats, and instability that have left her fearing for her safety and that of their children.
Marriage Marred by Alcohol, Drugs, and Anger
The couple, who once led their own law firm and worked on high-profile cases—including representing the mother of Hunter Biden’s youngest child—had long presented a united front to the public.
Behind closed doors, Jennifer claims Clint relied on pills and alcohol for over a decade while exhibiting an unhealthy fixation on firearms.
In her affidavit, she states that his “unresolved anger issues” and unstable mental health, combined with substance abuse, endangered their children.
She claims that while under the influence, Clint often displayed dangerous behavior around firearms.
Escalating Threats and Dangerous Behavior
Jennifer says she spent years seeking help for her husband through friends, colleagues, and pastors, most recently in June 2025.
However, she claims that his behavior escalated earlier this summer during a days-long binge, during which he allegedly attacked her in front of their children and threatened to “kick my ass” and “kill me.”
At one point, she says she found him passed out surrounded by several assault rifles.
She also cites earlier incidents, such as leaving a marijuana gummy on their daughter’s desk in 2022, which led to a temporary separation.
Rehab Stays and Unsettled Behavior
Clint’s struggles have included being removed from a plane in Chicago for combative behavior and being involuntarily admitted to a psychiatric hospital in Wisconsin before moving to a rehab facility.
Jennifer claims he left rehab after learning his insurance would not cover the stay.
Since then, she alleges, Clint has opened new bank accounts, purchased a new car, gotten multiple tattoos, and discussed moving their children to Florida with individuals she considers safety risks.
A judge has already granted Jennifer emergency custody of their children.
Family, Career, and Public Profile
The couple’s lives have intersected with national headlines due to their legal work.
Clint, a former Marine and police officer, represented Lunden Roberts, Hunter Biden’s baby mama, negotiating a child support agreement while helping establish a relationship between Biden and his daughter.
The Lancasters live in a six-bedroom home in Bauxite, Arkansas, valued at over $600,000.
Their public appearances have included interviews on Fox News, CNN, and CNBC, and they have been photographed with President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
Complex Family Matters Continue
Adding another layer of complexity, Clint has petitioned for a name change on behalf of a 19-year-old woman, stating that she recently discovered she is his biological daughter and wishes to take his last name.
Jennifer and Clint were married in 2011, while his adult daughter was born in 2006.
