Jeffrey Epstein’s brother accuses White House of covering up prison meeting between Justice Department and Ghislaine Maxwell in New York

Years after Jeffrey Epstein’s death rocked the world, his name is back in the spotlight—this time because of his longtime associate, Ghislaine Maxwell.

The Justice Department under Donald Trump now says it plans to speak with her. But Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, isn’t buying it.

He says it’s just another cover-up from the White House to dodge real accountability.

And he’s not holding back.

DOJ Plans To Talk To Maxwell – But Is It Just For Show?

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche confirmed that the Justice Department is preparing to meet with Ghislaine Maxwell in prison in the coming days.

The goal? To find out if she has information on anyone else who committed crimes against Epstein’s victims.

Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking minors on Epstein’s behalf.

Her lawyer says she’s willing to cooperate—and insists she’ll tell the truth.

“We’re grateful to President Trump for trying to uncover the truth,” her attorney David Oscar Markus added.

Epstein’s Brother Isn’t Buying It

But Mark Epstein thinks this whole thing stinks of damage control. According to him, the planned meeting is all just optics.

“They’ll ask her what her favorite color is, so they can say they talked to her,” he said sarcastically.

In his view, it’s all about creating the appearance of action, without actually doing anything meaningful.

He believes Maxwell may not be comfortable speaking freely, fearing any testimony could be used against her or jeopardize her appeal.

Mark Says Trump and Epstein Were Closer Than People Think

One of Mark Epstein’s biggest frustrations is how the White House has tried to distance Trump from his late brother.

Earlier this week, a statement from the Trump administration claimed that the former president had “never been” to Epstein’s office.

Mark says that’s complete nonsense.

He insists he remembers his brother telling him he’d been with Trump, and that people working in the office had seen him there.

“That’s the biggest crap I’ve ever heard,” he said, referring to the official denial.

Trump Brushes It Off – Again

When asked about the Justice Department’s plan to meet Maxwell, Trump played it cool.

“I don’t know anything about it. I don’t really follow that too much,” he told reporters from the Oval Office.

He then added one of his trademark phrases: “It’s sort of a witch hunt.”

Trump has long tried to downplay his connection to Epstein, claiming they had a falling out two decades ago and that he wasn’t a fan.

Just last week, he went so far as to sue Rupert Murdoch and The Wall Street Journal for publishing claims that suggested a friendship between him and Epstein.

The Conspiracy Theories Just Won’t Die

Despite investigations and official reports, parts of Trump’s support base continue to believe there’s a hidden list of Epstein’s powerful clients—names the government is allegedly protecting.

But a joint review by the FBI and DOJ recently concluded that no such list exists.

Still, Attorney General Pam Bondi is under fire.

Earlier this year, she promised to release more documents and records, including flight logs tied to Epstein.

Since then, she’s pulled back—and Trump’s supporters aren’t happy.

Some have even called for her resignation after she failed to deliver.

The Legal Battle Over Epstein’s Files Heats Up

At Trump’s direction, both Bondi and Blanche have now asked a federal court to unseal grand jury transcripts related to both Epstein and Maxwell.

But legal experts warn that even if those records are released, they may not contain the kind of damning details the public expects—especially not the explosive names or logs conspiracy theorists are hoping for.

Maxwell’s Camp Says She’s Ready to Speak

Interestingly, sources close to Maxwell claim she’s eager to share what she knows—and not just with prosecutors.

They say she’d be “more than happy” to testify before Congress if given the chance.

“No one from the government has ever asked her to speak before,” one insider said.

“She’s the only one who’s gone to jail in connection with Epstein, and she wants the American people to hear the truth.”
