Ivanka Trump’s Kids Become the Center of Attention as Donald Trump Takes the Oath of Office for a Second Term in Washington, D.C.

While Donald Trump’s second presidential inauguration was a monumental occasion, it was his grandchildren who captured the hearts of the audience and stole the show.

Sleepy Moments Before the Ceremony

The focus may have been on Trump as he took the Oath of Office, but it was his grandsons, Joseph, 10, and Theodore, 8, who became the true stars of the day.

The boys, who were seated with their mother Ivanka Trump and father Jared Kushner, struggled to keep their eyes open during the service at St. John’s Church ahead of the swearing-in ceremony.

In one adorable moment, Joseph was seen leaning against Ivanka, already fast asleep, while Theodore, too, appeared on the brink of dozing off.

The sleepy boys provided a touching, relatable moment amid the formality of the event.

Cheeky Glances and Family Moments

In another heartwarming photo, the boys glanced up playfully at their mom as she proudly looked toward her father.

It was clear that Ivanka’s children were making their own special memories during this historic moment.

Nearby, President Trump sat with his wife, Melania, and their 18-year-old son, Barron, creating a united family front as they celebrated the occasion together.

The day before, Eric and Lara Trump’s children, Luke, 7, and Carolina, 5, had also captured attention when they recited the Pledge of Allegiance onstage, further adding to the family’s charm.

A Growing Family

With 10 grandchildren and another on the way from Tiffany Trump, Donald Trump’s family continues to grow.

Each new addition brings even more warmth and joy to the already festive atmosphere of such important events.

Ivanka’s Shift in Role

While Ivanka played a key role in her father’s previous administration, she has since made it clear that she won’t be returning to a formal position this time around.

Instead, her focus will be on supporting her father emotionally as he navigates his second term.

Speaking candidly on The Skinny Confidential podcast, Ivanka admitted, “I hate politics. I went through years of craziness.”

She shared her understanding of the immense challenges her father faced while in office, acknowledging how lonely the role of president can be.

Family Comes First

This time, Ivanka’s priority is to simply be there for her father. “I’m most looking forward to just being able to show up for him as a daughter,” she said.

“Take his mind off things… watch a movie with him or a sports game… and just relax.”

Her decision not to return to the political spotlight is rooted in her desire to be a hands-on mother.

“The main reason I’m not going back to serve now is because of the cost,” she said, explaining that she didn’t want her children to bear the weight of the political spotlight.

Being the best mom remains her top priority, as she continues to focus on her family’s needs.
