Iran’s Supreme Leader delivers chilling threat as Trump considers launching US military strikes on Tehran following Israel conflict

What began as a week of simmering tension in the Middle East is now escalating into something far more dangerous, as U.S. President Donald Trump weighs direct military action against Iran.

With conflict already raging between Israel and Tehran, all eyes are now on Washington — and Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is not holding back with his warnings.

Khamenei’s Fiery Threats and Symbolic Imagery

Late Tuesday night, Khamenei took to social media to post apocalyptic-style threats.

One particularly haunting image showed fire raining down on a historic city while a sword-wielding figure stormed its gates.

The caption, written in Farsi, read: “In the name of the noble Haidar, the battle begins.”

That line is a reference to Ali, a key figure in Shia Islam.

Khamenei doubled down in English too, issuing a chilling statement: “We must give a strong response to the terrorist Zionist regime… We will show the Zionists no mercy.”

And to top it off, Iranian state TV ominously declared, “Tonight, a great surprise will occur — one that the world will remember for centuries.”

Trump Considers Three Military Paths

Back in Washington, President Trump is now reviewing three possible military strategies presented by his security team, according to a report from The New York Times.

The discussions reportedly took place at Camp David earlier this month, following a string of failed diplomatic attempts with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Here’s what’s on the table:

  1. Basic Support – Providing Israel with intelligence and aircraft refueling.

  2. Joint Strikes – Coordinated American-Israeli attacks on Iranian targets.

  3. Full U.S. Campaign – A comprehensive operation using bombers, cruise missiles, submarines, and aircraft carriers.

U.S. B-52 bombers — capable of carrying nuclear weapons — have already been stationed at the Diego Garcia base in the Indian Ocean.

Trump Issues Personal Threat to Iran’s Supreme Leader

As military assets move into position, Trump hasn’t shied away from personal threats.

In a post on Truth Social, he warned:
“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding.

He is an easy target, but is safe there — we are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.”

Trump’s tone made it clear the U.S. is losing patience, especially if Iranian missiles start targeting American troops or civilians.

Israel and Iran Exchange Fire for Fifth Straight Day

While leaders talk strategy, the violence between Iran and Israel shows no sign of stopping.

Both sides have launched fresh attacks, with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard boasting about a new, more powerful missile wave.

General Abdul Rahim Mousavi of Iran’s army claimed these strikes were just “warnings.”

But he also hinted that a more devastating response is coming soon.

Tel Aviv residents were seen rushing to shelters as Israel’s Iron Dome defense system kicked into action.

Meanwhile, Israel responded by taking out Iran’s wartime chief of staff and striking multiple military targets.

A Direct Hit on Iran’s Nuclear Facility Raises Alarm

The International Atomic Energy Agency has confirmed something major — there appears to have been a direct hit on Iran’s Natanz nuclear site. That’s a serious development.

The backdrop? Israel began this wave of attacks last Friday, targeting key nuclear and military sites and killing prominent scientists.

Iran insists its nuclear program is peaceful, but experts have warned for years that they’ve enriched enough uranium to build several bombs.

Talks Collapse as Israel Pushes On

Trump had previously encouraged Netanyahu to pursue diplomacy.

In fact, U.S. officials were preparing to negotiate a new nuclear deal with Iran in exchange for lifting sanctions. But that window appears to have slammed shut.

Israeli leaders are now treating this campaign as existential.

Ambassador Yechiel Leiter called it “the war to end wars” and promised more unexpected military tactics like last year’s plot involving bombs hidden in beepers.

America’s Military Build-Up Speeds Up

While Trump hasn’t made a final decision, U.S. military hardware is already on the move.

The Pentagon has sent more than 40 jets — including stealth bombers — to Europe and the UK.

The USS Carl Vinson strike group is positioned in the eastern Mediterranean, armed with squadrons of fighter jets and advanced destroyers.

The USS Nimitz, another aircraft carrier group, was also redeployed from the South China Sea to the region earlier this week.

VP Vance Signals the U.S. May Step In

Vice President JD Vance offered his take on the unfolding situation, hinting that Trump might choose to act decisively.

He said the president may take “further action to end Iranian enrichment,” and praised Trump’s restraint so far in focusing only on defending American interests in the region.

A Volatile Moment in Global Politics

With Ayatollah Khamenei throwing down the gauntlet and President Trump weighing heavy military options, the world is watching closely.

What happens in the next few days could shift the balance of power in the Middle East — or ignite a far broader conflict.

This isn’t just political posturing anymore. The weapons are real, the threats are personal, and the stakes have never been higher.
