India reports 127,952 new COVID-19 cases

NEW DELHI, 5th February, 2022 – India on Saturday recorded 127,952 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total tally to 42,080,664, said the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

ANI reported that the country also reported 1,059 new deaths in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative tally of deaths to 501,114 due to coronavirus.

The cumulative COVID-19 caseload reported in the country has risen to 41,952,712, including 1,435,569 active cases.

According to the health ministry, as many as 230,814 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative tally of recovered patients to 40,247,902.
