Wendy Blissett (Jennifer Armour) will pay a terrible price in Hollyoaks, according to the show’s stunning new teaser, who confirms that she will die in subsequent scenes.

The resident schemer of the eponymous village has made it her mission to destroy Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe), working with dad Silas (Jeff Rawle) in the hopes of obtaining Bobby.

So far, Wendy’s scheme has worked, with Bobby believing Mercedes doesn’t want anything to do with him, unknowing that he’s being manipulated.

Wendy, on the other hand, is caught off guard later this week when Sally St Claire (Annie Wallace) overhears her on the phone with Silas.

The Summer trailer, which was recently released on the Channel 4 soap’s social media channels, previews the aforementioned scenes, in which Wendy goes out of her way to keep Sally quiet.

Furthermore, she has Bobby take his own passport in order to run away from the nation with him!

‘Wendy is prepared to go as far as she needs to,’ actress Jennifer Armour said of her character’s goal to get Bobby away from the McQueens.

‘I think she didn’t think she would be asked to do anything too horrendous, but she starts to realise she might have to cross over her own boundaries.’

However, the trailer implies that a horrific traffic accident occurs, and Mercedes subsequently receives the shocking news that Wendy has died!

Is everything as it appears?

Will Mercedes be held accountable for a crime she did not commit?

Hollyoaks airs weekdays at 7 p.m. on E4, and first-look episodes are available on All4.
