On the occasion of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka’s National Day, His Majesty King Mohammed VI issued a message of congratulations to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
In this letter, the Sovereign extends His heartfelt greetings to President Rajapaksa and His best wishes for further progress and prosperity to the Sri Lankan people.
His Majesty the King takes this opportunity to express to Rajapaksa His pride in the unique friendship ties that bind the two countries, reaffirming His commitment to continue working with the Sri Lankan president to strengthen these ties and expand bilateral cooperation to include a wider range of fields, in the interests of both friendly peoples.
