The police are requesting the public’s assistance in the wake of a hit-and-run incident that left two pedestrians injured in Alexandra Hills last night, March 11. Initial investigations suggest that a man and woman were hit by a vehicle at a business along Finucane Road at around 11:30 p.m.
The 25-year-old Victoria Point woman was seriously injured and has been taken to the hospital for treatment, while the 24-year-old Victoria Point man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The vehicle involved in the incident is believed to be a white 2004 Mitsubishi Pajero with Queensland registration 015BE4. The vehicle was spotted leaving the scene around the time of the accident. The police are appealing to the driver of the vehicle or anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist with the investigation.
