Gwyneth Paltrow may be the queen of wellness, but even the Goop founder has her moments of indulgence.
The 52-year-old actress has long championed clean living, detoxes, and unusual health rituals—think an eight-day goat milk cleanse to tackle alleged parasites—but she recently revealed she isn’t entirely immune to the temptations of everyday life.
Chocolate and the Occasional Cheat
In a candid chat with Vogue, Gwyneth shared that she had indulged in “trans fats and seed oils” just the night before—specifically, a chocolate-covered Oreo.
“Once in a while it’s so important to follow those cravings, I love it,” she admitted.
While sweet treats still sneak in now and then, other vices are far more distant memories.
Smoking, for instance, hasn’t crossed her lips since the night she married Chris Martin seven years ago.
So committed was she to quitting that she reportedly put a clause in her marriage paperwork promising annulment if she ever smoked again—an unusual but effective deterrent.
Memories of Her Last Night Out Drinking
Alcohol is another indulgence Gwyneth rarely allows herself.
The last time she got drunk was nearly a decade ago, during her 43rd birthday in New York City, surrounded by friends including Cameron Diaz.
“We had this great Chinese dinner, then someone was like, ‘Let’s go dancing,’ I did shots and I was hammered,” she recalled.
The hangover the next day, which required a rushed toilet break during a meeting, quickly reminded her why she keeps alcohol consumption rare.
Apple Martin Defends Herself Against Nepo Claims
Meanwhile, Gwyneth and Chris Martin’s daughter, Apple, 21, is making waves in the fashion world but has faced criticism over her famous heritage.
Recently, she struck back at claims of being an “entitled” nepo baby after landing a high-profile campaign with Self Portrait.
Apple, who is balancing modeling with her studies at Vanderbilt University, insisted her parents instilled a strong work ethic.
“I know this is not a normal way to grow up by any means,” she said.
“But my parents did a really good job of instilling in me that I shouldn’t be entitled to anything. I have to work.”
Finding Balance Between Modeling and College Life
Despite walking in Chanel couture shows in Paris and posing alongside her mother in campaigns, Apple is determined to maintain a sense of normalcy.
She told The Daily Telegraph that spending time with friends, playing guitar, and even indulging in reality TV helps her stay grounded.
“We spent five hours on the couch just watching old episodes of America’s Next Top Model,” she said.
Debut Campaign With Self Portrait
Apple was recently unveiled as the new brand ambassador for Self Portrait, debuting in a campaign styled by Mel Ottenberg.
She wore standout pieces from the brand’s latest collection, including a white lace and satin maxi dress and a silver gradient sequinned gown.
“Debuting with Self Portrait was a no-brainer—their British spirit reminds me of growing up in London, so it felt like home from the start,” Apple said.
“The collections are gorgeous and approachable! Han and the team welcomed me into the creative process, and I’m having a lot of fun learning along the way.
I’m so excited for this campaign to be out in the world and for us to continue exploring this side of my creativity together.”
