Gunmen kill four Plateau mining workers

On Saturday evening, gunmen killed four workers at a mining facility in Dong village, Plateau State. According to The Nation, four males were shot and killed, while a woman who survived the shooting is being treated in the hospital.

Emmanuel Dong, a community leader, confirmed the attack.

He said the attack occured around 6pm. Plateau Police spokesman ASP Gabriel Ubah who also confirmed the attack, said;  “We are aware of the attack and four people were killed.“The Command has deployed armed police men to the area and calm has returned.”
