Technology has the power to transform lives, and the GTIA is putting that belief into action.
Their latest grant program is designed to support nonprofits and schools that are using—or need—technology to make a real difference, especially in under-resourced communities both locally and around the world.
Who They’re Looking to Support
GTIA is particularly interested in organizations tackling real-world challenges through smart, scalable technology solutions.
They want to fund programs that close gaps, break down barriers, and create new opportunities. Some of their focus areas include:

Education Technology: Tools and programs that enhance learning opportunities and improve outcomes for students.
-
Bridging the Digital Divide: Initiatives that expand access to broadband, devices, and online resources for underserved communities.
-
Workforce Development: Programs that use tech to open doors to new career paths and skills training.
-
Innovation and Prosperity: Bold technology solutions that create pathways to economic growth and opportunity.
-
Equity and Access: Projects that use technology to increase fairness and inclusion for communities facing systemic barriers.

In 2025, GTIA plans to award $600,000 through this grant program, as part of their $1.5 million total charitable giving commitment for the year.
Typical grants will range from $25,000 to $50,000, though larger grants may be considered depending on the strength and scale of the applications.
