Heartbreaking Moments Captured

Heartbreaking images captured the couple in moments of joy just before the tragedy unfolded.

Smiling and surrounded by sparklers held by their guests, they radiated happiness.

However, their lives would soon be shattered by the fateful crash.

Reckless Driving and Alcohol Consumption

The accident occurred when Komoroski, driving a rented Toyota Camry, was speeding at 65mph in a 25mph zone on a poorly-lit residential street.

The collision caused the buggy to be thrown a significant distance and flip multiple times.

Komoroski’s blood alcohol content was measured at 0.261 during the incident.

She claimed to have done nothing wrong when questioned by responding officers.

Mother’s Anguish and Legal Consequences

Samantha’s mother expressed her anguish and frustration, emphasizing that the crash was not an accident but a conscious choice made by Komoroski to drink and drive.

Komoroski, upon being questioned by the police, reportedly stated she was at an eight on a scale of drunkenness before requesting a lawyer.

She refused to cooperate with sobriety tests and attempted to hide her eyes from the officers.

Komoroski faces multiple charges, including three counts of felony DUI resulting in great bodily harm or death and one count of reckless homicide.

Legal Consequences and Potential Sentence

Komoroski, currently held at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center, is set to appear in court in June.
