Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Carlos Duart to the Florida International University Board of Trustees

Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Carlos Duart to the Florida International University Board of Trustees.

Duart, of Tallahassee, is President of CDR Maguire, Inc. and Chief Executive Officer of CDR Enterprises, Inc. He has served on the Florida International University Foundation board and is a member of the school’s Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. Duart is also a recipient of the Florida International University Outstanding Alumnus Medallion and the School of Engineering’s Torch Award. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree in taxation from Florida International University.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
