Girl threatens to blow up her Maryland high school and teacher’s house

Officials announced that a female high school student had been detained after allegedly threatening to blow up her teacher’s house and the high school in Maryland online.

According to a department press release published on Facebook, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office was informed of threats made against Walkersville High School and a teacher’s home on Saturday about 6 o’clock.

The announcement said that “FSCO deputies quickly initiated an investigation and deemed the threats to be not credible.”

Deputies “conducted many interviews during the course of the evening and successfully identified a suspect, a female adolescent who is a student at the school.”

Because she is a minor, the identity of the female suspect was withheld; nevertheless, charges are still pending as a result of a juvenile referral, according to the police.
