Geri Halliwell skips Mel B’s London wedding while stepping out with her children at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone

While Mel B was walking down the aisle at one of the most glamorous celebrity weddings of the year, Geri Halliwell was spotted braving the British rain with her kids at Silverstone for the F1 Grand Prix.

The two former Spice Girls appear to be on very different pages these days — and Geri’s absence from the big day hasn’t gone unnoticed.

No Post, No Congrats, No Show

Mel B, 50, tied the knot with fiancé Rory McPhee at London’s iconic St Paul’s Cathedral, surrounded by A-listers and loved ones.

But when fans scrolled through the comments and congratulatory messages flooding her Instagram, there was one name clearly missing — Geri Halliwell.

Not only was Geri nowhere to be seen at the wedding, but she also didn’t send a public message or post about the nuptials.

Meanwhile, other stars — including Heidi Klum, Paloma Faith, Kerry Katona, and even former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham — chimed in with sweet wishes and heart emojis.

Long History of Tension Behind the Silence

Geri and Mel B’s relationship has always been a little… spicy.

Over the years, they’ve clashed behind the scenes, and their tension has even bubbled up in interviews.

One of the most headline-grabbing moments came in 2019, when Mel B casually revealed during a TV interview that the two had once had an intimate relationship during their early Spice Girls days.

The claim reportedly blindsided Geri — who was said to be deeply hurt and never received an apology.

Her husband, Red Bull Racing’s Christian Horner, was reportedly “mortified” by the revelation.

Meanwhile at Silverstone

While Mel was celebrating in white pearls and a flowing veil, Geri stuck to her signature all-white outfit at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone.

Shielding herself from the rain with an umbrella, she walked through the paddock with her eight-year-old son Monty and 19-year-old daughter Bluebell.

Her attendance came just a day after Mel’s wedding — and it definitely gave the impression that she had chosen a different kind of event to support.

Mel C and Victoria Beckham Send Their Love from Afar

It wasn’t just Geri who missed the wedding.

Sporty Spice Mel C also couldn’t attend due to a gig in Sweden but still posted a heartfelt message and photo of the newlyweds on Instagram.

“So so happy for you both and beyond gutted I couldn’t be there,” she wrote. “Excited to celebrate with you really soon!”

Victoria Beckham also didn’t attend, reportedly due to travel commitments, but made up for it with not one but two sweet Instagram posts, including a throwback photo of the Spice Girls and a glamorous snap of herself with Mel.

“Sending love to you,” she wrote. “Rory is a very lucky man!”

Emma Bunton Was the Only Spice Girl at the Ceremony

Baby Spice Emma Bunton was the sole bandmate who actually showed up for the big day.

Dressed in a lovely pink dress, she was seen smiling and posing for photos with her husband Jade Jones and their 17-year-old son Beau.

At one point, she even paused to sign autographs for fans outside the cathedral.

Mel B Wows in Pearls as She Marries Rory McPhee

Mel looked every bit the radiant bride as she arrived in a white Bentley, wearing a stunning pearl-embellished gown with a sheer illusion design, ruched bodice, and a long flowing veil.

Her groom Rory, 37, wore traditional Scottish attire — complete with a tartan kilt — and smiled proudly as they tied the knot in front of their friends and family.

Mel’s daughters Phoenix, Madison, and Angel were all in attendance.

Phoenix stunned in a blue silk dress and fascinator, Angel wore a classic black suit, and Madison glowed in bright pink.

Celebs Pack the Aisle at Star-Studded Ceremony

It wasn’t just Spice Girls fans who were buzzing.

Celebrities like Gaby Roslin, Angellica Bell, Alan Carr, Katherine Ryan, Leigh Francis, and even Cara Delevingne made appearances.

Simon Fuller, the Spice Girls’ former manager, was also spotted among the guests.

Mel earned the rare honor of marrying at St Paul’s Cathedral thanks to her OBE, awarded in 2022 for her work with vulnerable women and charity causes.

A Look Back at Mel’s Relationship History

This is Mel’s third marriage. Her first was to Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar in 1998, followed by a controversial relationship with Stephen Belafonte in 2007 — a marriage that ended in 2016 amid serious abuse allegations, which Belafonte has denied.

She later revealed that her marriage left her financially drained, with her ex allegedly spending most of her £50 million fortune.

Her connection with Rory McPhee began slowly.

A longtime family friend and hairdresser, he helped care for her — and her curls — after her split from Stephen.

“He was nurturing my hair,” Mel once said. “But also my ability to trust again.”

A Celebration Without Full Spice

While Mel B looked overjoyed walking down the aisle, the lingering silence from Geri Halliwell continues to raise eyebrows.

Whether it’s unresolved drama or just a quiet decision to stay out of the spotlight, fans can’t help but notice that Ginger Spice is still holding her peace.

Will there be a reunion? Maybe. But for now, Mel B is soaking in her new chapter — and Geri is keeping her umbrella up.
