Georgia Woman Hurls Anti-Semitic Slurs at Neighbor Over Daughter’s Death While Serving in Israeli Army in Dunwoody

A quiet suburb in Dunwoody, Georgia, turned into a scene of confrontation when a local woman launched a shocking verbal attack on her neighbor, taunting him over the tragic death of his daughter while she served in the Israeli Border Police.

The incident, captured on video, has since gone viral, sparking widespread outrage online.

Grieving Father Targeted With Anti-Semitic Abuse

David Lubin, a father of five, faced hateful slurs from Anna Bouzyk as he posted stickers honoring his daughter, Sgt. Elisheva Rose Ida Lubin, who was killed in Jerusalem in November 2023.

The 20-year-old was stabbed by a teenage assailant while on duty in the Old City.

Rose, originally from Georgia, had moved to Israel in 2021 and began her army service in 2022.

According to reports, Anna, who reportedly displays pro-Palestine signs on her property, hurled derogatory terms including calling David a “k**e” and asserting that his daughter “deserved to die.”

Her husband, Mark Bouzyk, stood by her side during the heated exchange.

Heated Confrontation Captured on Video

The confrontation escalated when David walked across the street to respond directly to Anna.

In the video, Anna can be heard accusing him of corruption and claiming that Rose’s death was justified because of her army service.

David responded by condemning her remarks as hateful and deeply offensive.

He told WANF that he filmed the incident to document the level of hostility he encountered.

“I felt like there was a level of me that needed to get this woman on tape so people could hear how much hate was in her and how much hate is in people that are out there,” he explained.

Bouzyks’ Perspective and Controversy

Anna admitted to making the slur but claimed she was provoked by David calling her a “Jew hater.”

She said the encounter began as a discussion about his stickers being placed on public property, which she considered vandalism.

Mark Bouzyk, who has faced professional consequences following the incident, was terminated as Chief Scientific Officer at AllaiHealth.

The company condemned the behavior as “reprehensible” and “inconsistent with our values,” emphasizing accountability and integrity for all employees.

Background on the Families

David Lubin is running for the Georgia State Senate on a platform that includes combating gun violence, improving education, and protecting women’s health. He lives in Dunwoody with his second wife, Stephanie, and their children.

Rose’s death has had a lasting impact on the family and community.

Mark Bouzyk co-founded both AllaiHealth and the genetics firm AKESOgen, which was acquired by Tempus in 2019.

Anna Bouzyk has run a small jewelry business locally, although her Etsy page shows it has been inactive for years.

Community Response and Fallout

The incident has drawn attention to rising anti-Semitic abuse in local communities and the tensions between differing political and cultural views.

For David Lubin, documenting the confrontation was a way to highlight the hatred that exists and ensure the public is aware of such behavior.
