Free State Police Investigate Business Robbery
Free State police are investigating a business robbery that occurred on Sunday, April 2, where a group of unknown suspects raided a well-known retail shop and stole cash and cellphones.
The SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Mahlomola Kareli, stated that the suspects cut their way into the shop’s safe and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and different cellphones with an estimated value of R87 000.
The Acting District Commissioner, Brigadier Mapulane Mbeloane, has appealed to members of the community to come forward with any information that can lead to the apprehension of the suspects.
The police are encouraging anyone with information about the business robbery to contact Detective Sergeant Mpho Marapo of the Viljoenskroon SAPS or dial the Crime Stop hotline.
