The excitement of expecting his first child has brought a sense of clarity and perspective to Freddy Brazier, 20, who has had a turbulent relationship with his grandmother Jackiey Budden.
The model, the son of the late Jade Goody, had fallen out with his beloved nana last month following tensions at home, but the first baby scan with his pregnant girlfriend Holly Swinburn has changed everything.
A Touching Scan Changes Everything
Sources close to Freddy reveal that after seeing his unborn child for the first time at a London hospital on Tuesday, he immediately sought to make amends with Jackiey.
“The baby news has changed everything,” one family friend said.
“Freddy doesn’t want to be estranged from his Nana. They’ve always been so close, and he wants her to be involved in the baby’s life.”
Following the scan, Freddy took Jackiey out for an upscale meal to celebrate both the reconciliation and the impending arrival of the newest family member.
Past Tensions and Public Disputes
The past few months have been fraught with conflict.
Freddy had moved in with Jackiey in her Bermondsey flat after leaving his father Jeff Brazier’s home in Harlow, Essex, last year, finding comfort in the same room where his mother, Jade, grew up.

Things took a more dramatic turn last month when Freddy publicly accused Jackiey of introducing him to strong cannabis at the age of 12, a claim she vehemently denied.
Jackiey admitted they had smoked cannabis together in recent years but insisted, “Freddy was smoking as a kid with his mates long before he ever smoked with me.
He got into bad crowds, but it had nothing to do with me.”
Preparing for Fatherhood Brings Perspective
The revelation that Holly Swinburn is pregnant was a turning point for Freddy.
Despite the couple having split up briefly, Holly shared a positive pregnancy test with him, leaving him stunned.
