A new video has emerged showing disturbing behavior from former Disney star Matt Prokop, reigniting concerns over his past and recent legal troubles.
The footage, obtained exclusively by the Daily Mail, appears to show the actor physically manhandling his ex-fiancée Lucy, weeks after Prokop was arrested in December for possession of child pornography and resisting arrest.
The video, captured by a Ring camera, shows the 35-year-old allegedly picking up and shoving 24-year-old Lucy out of the front door of a house in Victoria, Texas, on May 18, 2024, around 10:35 a.m.
In the footage, Lucy can be heard pleading “Oh no” while a small white dog barks in the background as the commotion unfolds.
Alleged Hammer Threat Escalates Concerns
The Daily Mail reports that this unsettling incident occurred just one day after Prokop allegedly threatened Lucy with a hammer.
According to a police report filed that day, Prokop picked up a hammer from the kitchen table and told Lucy, “I will smash your skull in,” while pushing her into objects, causing her pain.
An insider told the Daily Mail that friends of both parties witnessed the incident.
“His friends and Lucy’s friends all saw him throw Lucy to the ground, shove her around, and when the hammer came up, that’s when they stepped in,” the source explained.
Lucy reportedly stayed the night with Prokop after the alleged hammer threat, hoping he might calm down by morning.
However, the video suggests he remained in a rage the following day.
Later, when Lucy went to a nearby shop, she informed staff she had been assaulted, prompting police involvement.
Alleged Abuse and Intimidation in the Relationship
The police report also notes that Lucy had recently discovered Prokop allegedly slept with someone else.
When she began packing her bags, he allegedly threatened her, saying, “If you leave, you’re dead.”
Officers documented photographic evidence of bruising from prior alleged assaults and videos showing Prokop continuously threatening Lucy.
“Given the circumstances and Lucy’s history with him, I believed Matthew was an imminent threat,” one officer wrote in the report.
While Lucy initially did not want to pursue charges, Prokop was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, unlawful restraint, and resisting arrest for defying officers.
Bail Drama and Manipulation Allegations
Sources claim that Prokop repeatedly called Lucy from jail, asking her to pay ten percent of his $77,000 bail.
Feeling responsible, Lucy allegedly drained her savings to help him.
Upon release, he was ordered not to contact her, but the pair reportedly moved back in together, with Prokop convincing Lucy he had changed.
“People kept telling her she was in love with his potential.
When he was nice, he was the nicest person. She stuck around hoping that version of him would come back,” the insider said.
Early Relationship and Longstanding Allegations
Lucy first met Prokop online at 20, having moved from the UK, and was quickly charmed by promises of love, marriage, and children.
The couple got engaged in January 2024 and continued their relationship despite the alleged assault later that year.
However, Lucy became increasingly concerned about Prokop’s past.
Actress Sarah Hyland, whom he dated from 2009 to 2014, had been granted a restraining order against him for alleged physical abuse, including choking, pushing, and threats.
Hyland’s legal filings described being unable to breathe or speak due to his grip, fearing for her life.
Prokop never publicly addressed these allegations.
Breaking Point and Flight from Abuse
Sources say Lucy reached her breaking point on December 24, 2025.
She allegedly fled to a nearby hotel, fearing Prokop’s persistent harassment.
Learning he had sent inappropriate messages to her family overseas pushed her to involve law enforcement.
Police attempted to arrest Prokop at his Victoria apartment, but bodycam footage obtained by TMZ shows him slamming the door in officers’ faces and resisting arrest.
He faced two additional charges for evading and resisting arrest, on top of child pornography charges after police reportedly found hidden-camera footage of a victim in a bathroom.
Current Status and Lucy’s Statement
Prokop remains incarcerated at the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office with a bail set at $117,500.
Lucy is reportedly refusing to post bail for him.
In a statement to the Daily Mail, she said, “Right now, I’m taking time to heal privately, with the support of close friends and family.
Taking this time does not lessen the seriousness or harm of his actions.”
She added, “As more information comes out, I ask that all victims be treated with care, dignity, and respect.”
Despite being behind bars, sources say Prokop continues to harass Lucy via calls and emails, making her recovery even more challenging.
