FNC delegation visits UK to enhance parliamentary relations

ABU DHABI, 8th February, 2022 – Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), is leading the FNC delegation on an official visit to the UK from 8th to 10th February.

The visit aims at discussing ways to further develop bilateral relations between the two sides to reflect the existing strategic partnership relations between the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, which enjoys the support of the two countries’ leaderships.

Ghobash will hold a session of talks with Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the British House of Commons, and meet with several officials.

They will discuss ways to boost bilateral cooperation across various fields, especially parliamentary ones, to achieve the vision of the two countries’ leadership and the aspirations of the two friendly peoples.

The delegation includes a number of the Federal National Council’s members.
