Flying Officers Cup 2021: Preseasons are for testing players as I am still experimenting – Osahon

Emmanuel Orobosa Osahon, the coach and owner of FC Robo, stated after his team’s 1-0 win over Bayelsa Queens that despite the victory, he still respects his opponent.

“It was a grueling game.” At the very least, we were able to mentally prepare ourselves. Bayelsa Queens is a fantastic team that I admire greatly. We had our chances and chose the best of them. We only hope for a small slip when two teams of our caliber meet.”

The coach explained why his team finished fourth in the Betsy Obaseki Women’s Football Tournament by saying he is still experimenting with the players with these pre-season events.

He said: “We are still experimenting. This is still pre season. If you don’t test them now because some of them are going to the national team camp. Monday Gift is not here. We tried a new striker today and she delivered. That is my kind of philosophy to give other people chance to play.
