Federal Government intends MSME Survival Fund for more Nigerians.

Prior to this, when this fund was first established, many individuals utilized it.

The federal government has announced intentions to expand the reach of its Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Survival Fund across the country.

More than 1,258,183 recipients have benefited from the fund to date.

Maryam Katagam, Minister of State for Industry, Trade, and Investment, cautioned micro and small firm applicants not to pay anyone to influence government payments.

Standards for Applications to the Survival Fund
You must be a medium-sized company with employees or own your own firm.

45 percent of the recipients will be female, while 5 percent will have special needs.

If it is a corporation, it must be registered with the Nigerian Companies Registration Authority, have at least three employees, and have a Nigerian CEO with a BVN.

The government’s focus in the private sector is on transport operators like bus and taxi drivers, Uber, Bolt, and kaninakawa drivers.

Also eligible are small company proprietors such as plumbers, bricklayers, electricians, etc.

When does survival fund enrollment begin?

There will soon be an announcement. Those who have not yet re-registered for Survival Funds will be activated to do so when re-registering. Prior to today, the majority of those who have not received CAC will need to obtain it. It also indicates that there is a quota of individuals who can still register to fill their own fields.

How Does the Survival Fund Operate?

Step 1: Onboard
After registering on the Survival Fund portal, the onboarding procedure must be completed by providing organization, banking, and staff information. Only if you receive a confirmation number on your mobile phone and use it to activate your profile number are these procedures possible.

Step 2: Register Your Organisation with Survival Fund
After logging in, you are able to register with your organization. To complete your living financial statements, you will need basic information, such as a CAC registration form, at this stage.

Step 3: Get Paid
Lastly, if the information you submit when enrolling for the Survival Fund is validated and fits the eligibility requirements, your application will be eligible for payment according to the specified plan.
