Federal Lawmaker Obidigwe Empowers 120 Beneficiaries With Start-up Capital

The Member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, at the National Assembly, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe has empowered one hundred and twenty people with start-up capital after undergoing various skills acquisition trainings.

 

The event which took place at the Anambra East Local Government Area headquarters Otuocha, attracted party faithful, stakeholders and traditional rulers.

Speaking during the event, Chief Obidigwe said that what he has done is part of the promises he made to his people, and advised those who benefited from the scheme to make judicious use of the fund and assured that such trainings and empowerment will continue to come at intervals.

 

The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA Chief Tex Okechukwu commended Chief Obidigwe for his effective representation and called on other lawmakers to emulate him.

 

The Deputy Majority Leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Sir Emeka Afforka, an APGA stakeholder from Nawgu, Chief Tochukwu Obiekie, among others, described the Lawmaker as a source of inspiration and urged him not to relent.

Correspondent Chibuzor Okoye reports that present at the event were, the Member representing Anambra West Constituency, Chief Patrick Obalum-Udoba, the Transition Committee chairman of Anambra West Local Government Area Sir Sylvester Orji-Okafor, his Anambra East counterpart, Mr. Obi Nweke, among others.
