The BRIT Awards (BRITs) on Tuesday, February 8th, were full with incredible moments and a misstep… Adele won three accolades, while Dave and Little Simz, two rappers, lit up the stage with performances of their biggest hits.
Ann-Marie performed with KSI, a rapper and YouTuber. However, things went from bad to worse when Ann-Marie made a minor blunder. She fell during the performance, but she persevered and ended strong!
As an artist performing live at a major awards show, you have to be ready for anything and Ann-Marie certainly was! The 30-year-old singer was performing her pop single Kiss Me (Uh Oh) when the unexpected happened…
Ann-Marie was performing in front of a crowd of more than 20 000 people at the O2 Arena in London when she took an unexpected tumble, but she handled it like a champion!
Ann-Marie sprung right back up and continued the peformance.

Taking to Twitter to react to her fall, Ann-Marie jokingly wrote: “Didn’t need my left ankle anyway.”

One tweep took it upon themselves to start a Twitter account as Ann-Marie’s left ankle.
The Twitter account wrote: “Wow. Bit shaken up but I’m okay. Bit bruised but with a bit of ice should be fine.”

“I hope there’s a seat for me at the after-party. I need to be elevated STAT,” they wrote in another tweet.

Optometrists Specsavers offered Ann-Marie a free visit to their offices.

Ann-Marie responded: “I’ll be in touch.”
