‘Fake doctor’ has BMW seized by SAPS – after he SWINDLED female patients!

Fake doctor accused of ‘swindling’ his patients

A provincial tracking team in Limpopo swooped on the bogus practitioner earlier on Wednesday, after complaints were raised by some of his victims. The cheeky charlatan developed a habit of swindling his female clients, taking up to R40 000 off people he was illegally treating as patients.

However, his taste for the high-life eventually proved to be his downfall. By splashing the cash and continuing his swindling spree, this fake doctor made a number of ‘enemies’ who were hellbent on bringing him to justice.

  • The young fraudster operated in these FIVE areas:

“The 29-year-old alleged bogus doctor was arrested by the Provincial Tracking team in Mankweng this morning after receiving information about a man who was swindling money from unsuspecting female victims around Polokwane, Mankweng, Tzaneen, Botlokwa and Senwabarwana.”

Not content with lying about his credentials and flaunting his ill-gotten wealth, the fake doctor also portrayed himself as a self-styled evangelist. Now without his BMW X5 and wads of cash, this scammer is facing a day in court and a substantial stretch behind bars. It’s hardly the Netflix ending he was hoping for…

“A case of theft under false pretences was opened after he allegedly swindled about R40 000 from female victims. The suspect, who was reportedly driving around in a BMW X5, at times allegedly disguised himself as an Evangelist.”

“The BMW was also seized. He is expected to appear in court soon, and SAPS are making an appeal to anyone who might have fallen victim to this bogus Doctor to come forward to assist in the unfolding investigations.”
