Estonian FM condemns Houthi’s terrorist attack on civil areas and facilities in UAE

ABU DHABI, 4th February, 2022 – Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), has received a letter from Eva-Maria Liimets, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, expressing her strong condemnation and rejection of Houthi terrorist attacks on civil areas and facilities in the UAE.

Liimets voiced her country’s full solidarity with the UAE.

She also offered his condolences to the UAE leadership, government and people over the victims of this terrorist attack and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasised the importance of bilateral visits to develop the existing ties in various fields by discussing issues of mutual interest, significantly enhancing parliamentary cooperation.

She also congratulated the UAE on its impressive success in hosting the Expo 2020 Dubai and its election to the Security Council, praising the UAE’s important role at the international level and wishing it further progress and prosperity.
