Following the incident, Eniola Badmus faced criticism from her senior colleague, Georgina Onuoha, who condemned her for arresting and detaining Tiktoker, Ego, who had allegedly defamed her.
Georgina asserted that defamation is not a criminal offense, and therefore, it was illegal for Eniola to have taken such actions against the lady.
