England Lionesses celebrate Euros victory with late-night party in Soho after emotional Downing Street reception in London

After clinching a heart-stopping Euros 2025 victory, England’s Lionesses swapped their football boots for heels and hit the town in celebration.

The squad, still riding high from their historic win, lit up central London as they made their way into Soho for a well-earned night of fun.

The players rolled up to the popular late-night spot, Little Italy, laughing, linking arms, and donning their third outfit change of the day.

Clearly, the party wasn’t slowing down any time soon.

From Downing Street to Dance Floors

Before heading out for the night, the team was honoured earlier in the day with a formal reception at No. 10 Downing Street, hosted by Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner.

The street was transformed into a patriotic haven, draped in St George’s flags and celebratory bunting.

Looking fresh-faced and fabulous, captain Leah Williamson led the squad through the gates alongside manager Sarina Wiegman.

Inside the garden reception, Rayner delivered an emotional speech, praising the Lionesses as “role models” and calling them a “shining example” for women’s football.

A Surprise Call from the Prime Minister

Though Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer couldn’t attend in person — tied up with diplomatic talks with President Donald Trump in Scotland — he still managed to surprise the team with a heartfelt video call.

“Congratulations to each and every one of you,” he said, beaming through the screen.

“You made history so many times over last night.”

Manager Wiegman responded with a gracious thank-you, expressing appreciation for his ongoing support.

The Celebrations Keep Rolling

With barely time to breathe, the Lionesses have been embracing every minute of their victory tour.

On Monday, they touched down at Southend Airport, where they were met with cheers, flags, and chants of “It’s coming home!” from a sea of fans.

Captain Leah Williamson, clutching the glistening Euros trophy, led the team off their private jet, which was greeted with a dramatic water cannon salute.

The welcome was fit for royalty — fitting for the new queens of European football.

Open-Top Bus Parade and Royal Celebration Ahead

The party isn’t over yet. At 12:10pm today, a massive open-top bus parade is set to roll through The Mall in London, ending with a star-studded celebration outside Buckingham Palace, hosted by none other than football icon Alex Scott.

Organisers expect scenes just as euphoric as the ones witnessed in Trafalgar Square three years ago — if not even more so, given how nail-biting this year’s tournament turned out to be.

Karaoke, Cake, and Early-Morning Selfies

The victory celebrations kicked off the moment the final whistle blew.

After their dramatic penalty shootout win against Spain, the team stayed on the pitch, breaking into a rendition of Robyn’s 2010 anthem “Dancing On My Own,” led by Leah Williamson and Beth Mead.

Later that night, Ella Toone took the mic for some karaoke, while manager Sarina Wiegman and Williamson cut a victory cake together.

At 4:10 a.m., Toone’s partner, Joe Bunney, even shared a snap of the team still partying into the early hours.

That Iconic Final Moment

The final itself was a rollercoaster. England and Spain were deadlocked at 1-1 after 90 minutes — and still even after 30 minutes of extra time.

So it all came down to penalties.

And just like in 2022, Chloe Kelly delivered the goods again.

Her winning spot-kick sealed England’s place in the history books once more and sent fans from Basel to Birmingham into wild celebration.

Don’t Miss the Parade

For those wanting to be part of the action, today’s victory parade is open to the public and completely free.

It will also be broadcast live on BBC, ITV, and Sky — so fans everywhere can cheer on the Lionesses one more time.

From the pitch to the palace gates, England’s women have not only made history — they’ve made the nation proud, every step of the way.
