Long before he was selling out arenas and collaborating with rock legends, Yungblud quietly made a cameo in one of Britain’s most beloved TV soaps — and almost no one noticed until now.

The unexpected connection between the Emmerdale village and the punk-rock star has just gone viral, leaving fans completely stunned.

A Surprise Cameo Hidden in Plain Sight

It turns out that back in 2015, Yungblud — real name Dominic Richard Harrison — popped up in the Yorkshire Dales as a guest character named “Matt.”

The Doncaster-born musician was introduced as a potential love interest for Belle Dingle and even shared scenes with the late Steve Halliwell, who famously played Zak Dingle.

His time on the show was brief, just a handful of episodes, but enough to leave a fun Easter egg for fans to discover nearly a decade later.

Fans React to the Discovery

When the old clip resurfaced online, viewers couldn’t contain their excitement.

Social media lit up with comments like, “How did I not notice him!” and “Petition for Dom to get back to the village.”

Others tagged the singer directly, asking how they’d missed his soap debut.

One fan summed it up simply: “This is so cute.”

Paying Tribute to a Rock Legend

The rediscovered cameo comes just a week after a deeply emotional moment in Yungblud’s real life.

He reportedly gave a reading at the private funeral of rock icon Ozzy Osbourne in Buckinghamshire.

The pair first met in 2022 and developed a close, almost father-and-son bond.

After Ozzy’s passing on July 22 at the age of 76, Yungblud shared a heartfelt Instagram post featuring a cross necklace the Black Sabbath frontman had given him during the filming of The Funeral music video.

Yungblud had later gifted Ozzy a custom-made cross necklace before Sabbath’s final gig at Villa Park in Birmingham.

His caption read: “goodnight oz. your light will forever shine. I love you.” Fans were quick to say it felt like Ozzy had “passed the torch of darkness” to Yungblud.

Rekindling a Love Story

On a more personal note, Yungblud also recently opened up about rekindling his romance with long-term girlfriend Jesse Jo Stark.

Speaking on Paul C. Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast, he admitted they had temporarily split due to his own struggles with insecurity and the pressures of fame.

He described Jesse as “probably the most incredible person I’ve ever met” and said he felt lucky to be back in her life, calling her his best friend and biggest love.
