Elon Musk Welcomes His Fourth Child with Shivon Zilis in Latest Addition to His Growing Family in 2025

On February 28, Elon Musk, the South African-born billionaire and CEO of companies like Tesla and SpaceX, made headlines once again, but this time for a personal reason.

Musk and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis have welcomed their fourth child together.

This brings the total number of children Musk has fathered to a possible 14, depending on the validity of a recent paternity claim.

A Special Announcement for Arcadia’s Birthday

Shivon Zilis took to Twitter to announce the arrival of their son, Seldon Lycurgus.

She mentioned that in light of their daughter Arcadia’s first birthday, it felt like the right moment to share the joyful news about their son.

Zilis described Seldon as “built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold” and expressed her immense love for him.

The couple already shares twins, Strider and Azure, who were born earlier.

Musk’s Growing Family and the Question of Paternity

Elon Musk’s growing family has sparked quite a bit of media attention in recent months.

Earlier, columnist Ashley St. Clair claimed she had a child with Musk, which would increase his fatherhood count to 13.

While Musk did not publicly confirm or deny the claim, St. Clair filed a paternity suit and included a photo of Musk with the baby in the court documents.

This raises the possibility that Musk might indeed be the father of his 14th child, but for now, the situation remains uncertain.

Musk’s Family History

Elon Musk’s family life has certainly been complex. He had six children with his first wife, Justine Musk.

Tragically, their first son, Nevada Alexander, passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) at only 10 weeks old.

Musk and Justine later welcomed twins, Griffin and Xavier, in 2004.

In 2022, Xavier legally changed her name and gender to Vivian Jenna Wilson.

The couple then had triplets—Kai, Saxon, and Damian. Musk’s relationship with Canadian singer Grimes also brought the birth of their son, X AE A-XII, affectionately known as baby X, in May 2020.

Grimes and Musk also share a daughter named Y and a son named Techno Mechanicus, who goes by the nickname Tau.

In addition to his children with Grimes, Musk has twins Strider and Azure with Shivon Zilis.

Together, Musk and Zilis have also welcomed Arcadia and now Seldon, expanding Musk’s already sizable family.
