Dumped! Bride-to-be escapes Heathrow Airport with fiancé’s bags and £5,000 cash

A spiteful bride-to-be reportedly robbed her fiancé of his baggage and £5,000 in cash before abandoning him at the airport.

A British guy was claimed to be in shambles when his fiancee stole his possessions while he was in the restroom at Heathrow’s Terminal 5.

According to the Sun, the couple in their forties had been engaged the day before and informed check-in personnel at the west London airport that they were travelling to Rome to get married.

The unidentified guy, who ultimately contacted the police, said that she had fled with the £5,000 he had given her for the wedding.

A Met Police spokesperson confirmed to the Sun that an investigation was underway.

She said, “Investigations continue.” Currently, no arrests have been made.’

They said that they had planned to marry in Rome and were ready to board a flight when “she ran away as he went to the restroom and disappeared with all of their luggage.”

The witness said that staff’searched everywhere for her’ but were unable to locate her.

They stated, “The cops were eventually summoned.” Even her name was uncertain at that point.’

It is unclear if the lady departed the airport or travelled to a foreign nation.
