Friday, February 4, 2022 – President Uhuru Kenyatta‘s nuclear family has resolved to abandon Deputy President William Ruto completely and start an aggressive campaign in support of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
In a family gathering chaired by Uhuru’s mother, Mama Ngina Kenyatta, the family which commands a lot of respect in Mt Kenya, resolved to support Raila Odinga’s presidential bid in August.
However, the Kenyatta family, according to a source, will not publicly support Raila Odinga but will work behind the scenes to ensure that all preparations for Baba’s presidency in 2022 go smoothly.
“Whereas some of the family members may not directly participate in the campaigns, they will be working from behind scenes to ensure Baba clinches the seat.
“There (Have) already been indications to this effect,” said a source
The family is said to have endorsed Raila Odinga‘s presidency because he has demonstrated his ability to bring Kenyans together and protect the Kenyatta family’s multi-billion assets spread across the globe.
